________________ Guðrið Hansdóttir - vocals, guitar ________________ Guðrið is a singer, songwriter and musician from the Faroe Islands and has released several studio albums, and her musical career spans over 20 years. Apart from being a solo artist she is also a member of the electro duo BYRTA and the vocal quintet KATA. She works with many different musical styles and genres such as folk, pop, electro pop, classical music and rock. Her music has been released in many countries and she has toured in different parts of the world such as Scandinavia, Europe, USA, Russia and Greenland. Her latest album "Gult myrkur" was released in 2022 and was well received by critics and won album of the year and lyrics of the year at the Faroese Music Awards in 2023. Guðrið is currently working on a new album which will be out in autumn 2025.
