With her captivating folk pop, Guðrið Hansdóttir creates a universe where she takes the audience on a journey with stories about the darkness, the sailor, love and life's dilemmas.

Guðrið has been active on the Faroese and international music scene for the past 20 years and has played at festivals such as SXSW, Spot Festival, Iceland Airways, By:larm and Nurnberg Pop.

Her latest release ”Gult myrkur” was voted album of the year and text of the year at Faroese Music Awards 2023 and Guðrið is currently working on a new album, which will be released in April 2026.
