The band is about creating Faroese Lo Fi music. The name of the group, RAVSØGN, is a combination of the Faroese words ‘ravmagn’ and ‘søgn’.
The idea for the band came from mixing something old with something new: mythology in electronic form.
The content of the text is often an interaction between two elements that reflect this duality between new and old, everyday life and legends.
RAVSØGN is for all souls who love Lo Fi and jazz.
