Rørgull er ein tvírør træblásara bólkur, sum varð stovnaður fyri uml. 2. árum síðani.

Ikki eru tað nógv, ið spæla enskt horn, obo ella fagott her í landinum og er hetta m.a. ein av orsøkunum, at íblásturin til Rørgull byrjaði.

Vit síggja tí eisini Summartónar sum ein gyltan møguleika at gera hesi ljóðførini meira sjónlig í Føroyum, og fyri at menna okkum sum einstakar spælarar og sum bólk.

Rørgull is a double reed woodwind ensemble that was established around 2 years ago.

There aren’t a lot of English Horn, Oboe or Bassoon players in the country and that is also where the inspiration for Rørgull came to be.

We see Summartónar as a golden opportunity for us to make these instruments better known in the Faroes and to improve as individual players as well as a group
